HARSHAW – This week, Rondele Ranch announced that it purchased Pinewood Golf Club in Harshaw.
In a release, Rondele said it is “bringing its commitment to community investment and revitalization to the golf course” and announced plans for “significant improvements designed to enhance the golf experience while keeping the course accessible and affordable.”
“The purchase represents another investment in the Northwoods for Rondele Ranch, a business known for bringing people together, supporting local organizations and creating opportunities for area businesses,” the release said. “Through its annual Christmas Wonderland light show, which invites visitors to experience more than one million lights on the property, Rondele Ranch creates a seasonal destination for families while helping support local Boy Scout troops, high school sports teams, area churches and other community organizations. The business also works to engage local vendors and support nonprofits through its larger public events.”

The release said a comprehensive renovation of Pinewood Golf Club will begin with several key improvements planned for 2027.
Construction of a new clubhouse is scheduled to begin in the spring.
“With panoramic views of the first, ninth, 10th and 18th holes and Bearskin Creek, the new facility will accommodate up to 150 people for golf outings, banquets, weddings and other events,” the release stated. “Golf simulators will allow members and the public to practice and play during the offseason, with winter leagues planned to extend opportunities for year-round recreation. The existing clubhouse will remain in use until the new facility is complete.”
Additional improvements will focus on course conditions and the overall golfer experience, according to the release. Installation of a new irrigation system will begin in early spring 2027, with completion planned before July 1. The system will provide coverage for fairways, tees, greens and roughs to improve playing conditions. Cart paths will be improved for a smoother ride, and existing tee boxes will be upgraded, with new tee boxes added where needed, the release said. All 18 holes are expected to remain open for play throughout the 2027 season.
“Beyond the physical improvements, Rondele Ranch envisions Pinewood as another place for people to connect, celebrate and spend time together in the Northwoods,” the release said. “The new clubhouse will provide space for community gatherings, business events, weddings and banquets, while golf simulators and winter leagues will offer activities beyond the traditional golf season.”

Kyle Christian, Pinewood's current General Manager and PGA professional, will continue overseeing golf operations. Tyler Nehls will remain in his role as golf course superintendent.
