Sister Carol Thresher, SDS. Oct. 26, 2025. Age 84.
Sister Carol was born in Tomahawk. She entered the Sisters of the Divine Savior in 1960 after attending Divine Savior High School. She earned degrees in history and theology, teaching and advocating for justice and peace in Milwaukee before ministering for 18 years among the poor in Brazil. Her work deepened Salvatorian spirituality through retreats and collaborative projects, and she later served in Tucson and as Provincial leader for 12 years.
