TOMAHAWK – Tomahawk’s Boy Scout Troop and Cub Scout Pack 548 last week thanked the community for participating in the annual Scouting for Food event.
A total of 25 Scouts took part in the initiative by handing out flyers and collecting food contributions.
On Saturday, April 5, 500 pounds of food was donated to the Tomahawk Emergency Food Pantry.
“A successful event like this is only possible because of the continued community support,” said Pack 548 Secretary Christina Schultz.
