Lincoln County Sheriff’s Report: May 25, 2026

As reported by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Monday, May 25:

On 05/18/2026 deputies were sent to the intersection of CTH G and CTH C in the Town of Schley for a two-car crash with injuries. Deputies found that a vehicle was traveling N/B on CTH G when the driver failed to stop for a stop sign and struck a vehicle traveling on CTH C. One driver was transported by Merrill Ambulance for minor injuries.

On 05/21/2026 deputies were sent to the intersection of CTH P and CTH W in the Town of Pine River for a two-car crash with injuries. Deputies found that a vehicle was stopped at the stop sign on CTH P at CTH W. The driver of the second vehicle attempted to turn onto CTH P when they turned too short and struck the stopped vehicle. Three parties in the stopped vehicle received minor injuries.

On 05/24/2026 deputies were sent to the area of STH 64 and 107 and Snow Hill Rd. in the Town of Scott for a motorcycle vs. deer crash with injuries. It was reported to deputies that the motorcycle was W/B on STH 64 and107 when it struck a deer. After hitting the deer, the driver lost control of the vehicle and laid it down. Both the bike and driver slid to final rest. The driver received minor injuries and was transported by Merrill Ambulance. The driver was wearing a helmet.

On 05/24/2026 deputies were sent to the area of STH 107 and Hillcrest Rd. in the Town of Bradley for an ATV vs. deer crash with injuries. It was reported to deputies that the ATV was traveling S/B on STH 107 when the driver struck a deer, causing the ATV to roll and come to final rest in the ditch. The driver and sole occupant of the ATV was injured and was transported by Tomahawk Ambulance to Aspirus Tomahawk Hospital. The driver was wearing a helmet.

Deputies conducted 68 traffic stops and 42 security checks.                          

Deputies responded to 12 car vs. deer crashes, one car vs. eagle and one car vs. bear.
