As reported by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday, June 9:
On 06/02/2026 deputies were sent to the intersection of USH 8 and USH 51 in the Town of Bradley for a two car crash with injuries. Deputies arrived on scene and found the two cars were involved in an intersection-related crash with one party being injured. The injured party was transported to the hospital by ambulance. No other details were available.
On 06/04/2026 deputies were sent to the intersection of CTH C and Mosser Rd. in the Town of Schley for a report of an unresponsive male party in his car in the middle of the road. When deputies arrived on scene, they made contact with the driver, an Antigo man, and noticed signs of impairment. The driver was asked and refused to do sobriety tests. As a result, he was placed under arrest for a second offense OWI and transported to the Lincoln County Jail.
On 06/07/2026 deputies were sent to the area of Somo Dam Dr. near CTH CC in the Town of Wilson for a two-motorcycle crash with injuries. Upon arrival, deputies learned that the two motorcycles were traveling E/B on Somo Dam Dr. The driver of the lead motorcycle slowed for debris in the road and the driver of the trailing motorcycle didn’t see the first motorcycle slow in time. The trailing motorcycle stuck the lead bike in the rear, causing the driver to lose control and dump the motorcycle. Two of the four riders were transported by ambulance to area hospitals for treatment.
Deputies conducted 48 traffic stops and 34 security checks.
Deputies responded to 11 car vs. deer crashes.
