Robert L. "Bob" Mijolevic, age 78, of Tomahawk, WI, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.  Bob was born on March 13, 1948, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Louis and Hertha (Zimmermann) Mijolevic. He grew up in Milwaukee, where his love of motorsports began. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and working on his parents' cars, both of which led to some freewheeling adventures in his teens and, ultimately, to lifelong friendships and countless cherished memories with family and friends. He attended St. Rita Grade School, Don Bosco High School, and was a proud Eagle Scout.

Bob attended UW–Madison, where he met the love of his life, Judy (Klish). Together they worked in several business ventures, raised twin children, and shared 53 years of marriage. Their journey took them to Milwaukee, Washington Island, Pardeeville, and ultimately Tomahawk, where they built their dream home and operated K.F. Honing for many years. The business grew out of J&L Honing, which had been founded by Bob's father. Bob was known for his commitment to quality, strong work ethic, and entrepreneurial spirit. Before devoting himself full-time to K.F. Honing, he was also proud to work at Demco, Inc.

Bob's lifelong passion was road racing and building cars. He competed in several racing classes at tracks including Road America, the Milwaukee Mile, and Blackhawk Farms Raceway. He especially enjoyed building cars and engines, most recently completing replica builds of the Shelby Cobra, Daytona Coupe, and GT40.

Bob was a proud bone and tissue donor, a cause that became especially meaningful to him and his family later in life. He lived with diabetes for more than 53 years and took great pride in the care and discipline with which he managed his health.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Judy; his son, Matthew (Bobbie); his sister, Polly (Lisa); and many cherished relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Hertha.

A celebration of Bob's life will be held at a later date in Tomahawk.  Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.  You may view Bob’s obituary and leave online condolences at generationsfuneral.com.
