Richard “Dick” A. Jones, age 85, of Tomahawk, WI, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Rib Lake Health Services in Rib Lake, WI. Dick was born in Tomahawk, WI, on April 21, 1941, to the late George and Elena (Koski) Jones.
After graduating from high school, Dick proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a Vietnam veteran who served from 1963 to 1969, working as a small arms repairman. His military service was an important part of his life, and he carried the pride of having served his country throughout the years.
Following his military service, Dick worked at the Chevrolet Garage in Tomahawk. He later began a long career with Tomahawk Power and Pulp, where he worked until his retirement.
Survivors include his daughters, Jamie and Elena; his brothers, Kenneth and Terry; and his sister, Sally Hatina. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Elena; his brothers, Stanley and William; his sister, Grace Seichter; and his brother-in-law, Fred Hatina.
