TOMAHAWK – The Park City Cares Foundation, in partnership with Park City Credit Union (PCCU), last week announced the successful completion of a matching fundraiser benefiting Kinship of Tomahawk’s efforts to relocate to a new home in the historic Bradley Bank building in downtown Tomahawk.
Together, the organizations matched community donations dollar for dollar, up to $10,000.00. In a release, PCCU said the match “(amplified) the impact of every contribution.”
The full match was met, and the total donation made was $20,218.18.
“Thanks to the generosity of local donors and the matching support, Kinship of Tomahawk has secured the funds needed to purchase their new building,” PCCU said. “But the journey doesn’t stop there.”
The release said additional funds raised through the campaign will go toward essential repairs and renovations, furnishing the space and transforming part of the parking area into a safe and welcoming outdoor play space for the youth they serve.
“Kinship of Tomahawk plays a vital role in mentoring and empowering local youth,” said Melissa Wrycha, President of the Park City Cares Foundation Board. “We’re honored to support their mission and help create a space where young people can thrive.”
“The Park City Cares Foundation and Park City Credit Union extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed to this amazing organization,” PCCU stated. “This campaign is a testament to what’s possible when a community comes together to invest in its future.”
