TOMAHAWK SLEDDERS TEAR IT UP IN CANADA: Three professional snowmobilers from Tomahawk had impressive finishes taking parrt in the Canadian Power Toboggan Championships held in Beausejour Canada. As part of team Van Ryan Racing, Brett Borchardt finished with a first on 340 Stock he also was 6th in Junior 2 F500 and Hunter Van Ryan got a second in Junior 2 sprint and a 3 rd in Junior 2 F500. Nick VanStrydonk also made it an impressive weekend for T&N Racing on the oval ice track as he scored a 3rd place finish in Formula 3 and a 4th in Pro Champ 440. The season opener is part of the run up to the World Championship Snowmobile Derby, known as the Indianapolis 500 of Snowmobile Racing, being held in Eagle River Jan. 17-19.
