TOMAHAWK – Tomahawk Community Theater (TCT) this week called off its Variety Show, which was slated to take place Wednesday, Oct. 12 at VFW Post 2687 in Tomahawk.

TCT said it was forced to cancel the show due to a “lack of response from area performers.”

“We do thank the many of you who had expressed such an enthusiastic interest in attending what we had expected to be an entertaining community event,” TCT stated.

Although the Variety Show will not go on as planned, TCT said it has “decided it's time to move forward.”

“Due to some generous donations, we are headed towards being able to put on a theatre production in the New Year,” TCT stated. “We are especially looking for actors, but there are many other ways to get involved.”

A participation form with information on how to get involved or contribute to TCT can be found on TCT’s Facebook page at www.bit.ly/3SJtX6L.

Forms can also be found throughout Tomahawk at Cherie's Sweet Sensations, HMM Boutique, Tomahawk Family Restaurant, Tomahawk Foods, Terry Bucaro's Dance Studio and WJJQ.
