TOMAHAWK – Eighth grade students at Tomahawk Middle School recently took a field trip to the East Coast, visiting Washington, D.C., Philadelphia and New York City.
Highlights of the trip, which took place from Sunday, June 8 through Saturday, June 14, included touring iconic monuments in Washington, D.C., visiting Arlington National Cemetery, catching a Baltimore Orioles game, running up the Rocky steps, exploring Independence Hall, experiencing The Lion King on Broadway, reflecting at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, seeing the Statue of Liberty up close and shopping along Fifth Ave.
