The students punched their collective ticket to State after competing in the district-level competition earlier this month, performing in the following categories.

Galen Schmidt, Farrago; Julia McGovern, Impromptu; Cedar Hoffman, Poetry; Alena Cerkas, Prose; Maddie Long, Prose; Lydia Shaney, Prose; Aubrey Graeber, Kael Oates and Damian Gonzalas-Ramirez, Group Interpretation; Sadie Ruder, Payton Loka, Jayden Dellinger and Tamara Stenberg, Group Interpretation; Sarah Kallerud, Tobias Scott, Phoebe Hrdina and Finn Colburn, Group Interpretation.

Molly Kollath is the team’s head coach. She is assisted by Michele Balda and Katie Pritzl.

“We are incredibly proud of (the team’s) hard work, dedication and talent,” Kollath said. “The team has worked hard to get here and we hope to continue to make our community proud. We want to thank our students for their determination, as well as their families, teachers and the community for their ongoing support. Their commitment to perfecting their performances and supporting one another has been inspiring to watch. We look forward to seeing our team represent Tomahawk with pride at State.”
