THS forensics earns medals at State competition

MADISON – The Tomahawk High School forensics team competed in the State competition at UW-Madison on Friday, April 11.

Earning bronze medals were Julia McGovern in Impromptu speaking and Aubrey Graeber, Kael Oates, and Damian Gonzalez Ramirez in Group Interpretation.

Silver went to Alena Cerkas in Prose, Maddie Long in Prose, Galen Schmidt in Farrago and Sarah Kallerud, Phoebe Hrdina, Tobias Scott and Finnian Colburn in Group Interpretation.

With perfect scores of 25 out of 25, gold went to Lydia Shaney in Prose, Cedar Hoffman in Poetry and Jayden Dellinger, Payton Loka, Sadie Ruder, and Tamara Stenberg in Group Interpretation.

The team was coached by Molly Kollath, Katie Pritzl and Michele Balda.
