ROTHSCHILD – A team sponsored by a Tomahawk business took first place at the Wisconsin State Pool Players Association (WSPA) State Championship earlier this month.
The event was held at the Central Wisconsin Convention and Expo Center in Rothschild from Thursday, Feb. 5 through Sunday, Feb. 8.
The Nine-Ball Championship consisted of 63 teams and was ultimately won by a team made up of Dave Kasprzycki (Subway) of Wausau, Derek Bartz (Bartzy) of Tomahawk and Paul Lyskawa (Pauly) of Tomahawk.
The team was sponsored by Augie's Collectibles of Tomahawk.
