STAR'S SPLASH

Posted

By the look on her face, either soap didn't tell loofah in advance he (Bob Leonhard) was planning to dive during the STAR Splash held Saturday at Happy Snapper or loofah (Jackie Leonhard) was just bracing for the frigid waters as she took the plunge into Lake Mohawksin. Jackie raised over $2,500 for the Tomahawk Food Pantry and another $1,000 was kicked in for being the top fund raiser at this year's Splash. It was actually Bob's second plunge of the day, as he started the day off raising money for the NCO Club. Plungers raised a total $10,785 with half going to their respective group with the other half going to Support Tomahawk Area Resources (STAR). The total amount of money raised including donations from sponsors brought the total to $25,000 raised from this year's event.
