TOMAHAWK – On Friday, May 1, St. Mary's School preschool students braved the chilly weather to spread some May Day cheer to downtown businesses.
Principal Juanita Skubal said the students began their field trip with a tour of Crossbridge Community Bank, where they enjoyed meeting many of the employees and learning what goes on inside a bank.
The youngsters then headed west along W. Wisconsin Ave., stopping by several businesses to deliver handmade bouquets as a thank-you for helping the Tomahawk community bloom.
Skubal said it was a “wonderful experience for the preschoolers to personally meet so many of our wonderful business owners.”
