Scores of former students attend Historical Society’s ‘Kindergarten Reunion’

TOMAHAWK – The Tomahawk Area Historical Society held a “Kindergarten Reunion” at the Old Kindergarten Museum at 18 E. Washington Ave. on Friday, July 5.

Scores of former students, along with family members, enjoyed touring the museum, studying class pictures, flipping through old Tomahawk High School yearbooks, looking at memorabilia related to school days and sharing stories.

The displays will continue at the museum this summer. The first schoolhouse in Tomahawk, built in 1888, is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays.
