Park City Credit Union reports growth, expansion at annual meeting

Posted

MERRILL – Park City Credit Union held its 2025 Annual Meeting on Monday, May 18, marking a year of significant growth for the Merrill-based financial cooperative.

The credit union surpassed 25,000 members in 2025 and distributed $4.68 million in dividends to members. The organization closed the year with $381.2 million in total assets and a 9.91% capital ratio.

“We’ve expanded our reach and capabilities while staying true to our mission of helping members fulfill their dreams,” President and CEO Val Mindak said.

The credit union also grew its regional footprint last year. A June 2025 merger with Wood County Employees Credit Union extended Park City’s service area to 13 counties, and a Wausau branch opened last month.

“These expansions reinforce our promise to meet members where they are by providing accessible banking solutions,” Mindak said.

Beyond its own operations, Park City Credit Union backed the launch of Elevate Business Solutions LLC, a Credit Union Service Organization offering human resources support to small businesses and other credit unions. The organization also announced in Sept. 2025 that its Merrill headquarters will add a Dunkin’ and Baskin-Robbins location.

Community involvement remained a priority, as well. Park City supported more than 75 local organizations and causes in 2025, with employees logging more than 1,000 volunteer hours and completing nearly 50 random acts of kindness.

“Together we are shaping a strong future for Park City Credit Union,” Mindak said.

The full annual report is available at www.parkcitycu.org or at any Park City branch.

Park City Credit Union has locations in Tomahawk, Merrill, Minocqua, Rhinelander and Wausau.
