Posted

ONEIDA COUNTY – The Oneida County Health Department (OCHD) recently launched a free, confidential online platform designed to empower individuals to better understand and improve their mental health.

In a release, OCHD said CredibleMind provides professional resources in one easy-to-use location, including videos, podcasts, apps, books, articles and more on mental wellbeing.

The platform is accessible 24/7 and offers tools to learn new skills, assess mental health and explore thousands of resources tailored to emotional, psychological and social wellness, according to OCHD.

“Community members are encouraged to get started today by taking the Mental Health Profile Assessment available on the platform,” OCHD stated. “This quick and insightful assessment evaluates over 20 areas of mental health and overall wellbeing, offering personalized insights to help individuals take proactive steps toward a healthier mind.

Those who create an account and complete the assessment by Friday, Dec. 6 will be entered into a drawing to win a $100.00 Amazon gift card.

“Mental health isn’t just about addressing challenges like anxiety, depression or stress,” OCHD said. “It also includes happiness, relationships, eating habits and overall life satisfaction. CredibleMind helps users understand how these factors impact their wellbeing, offering tools to help improve everyday life.”

Personal information, including names, email addresses and assessment responses, will remain confidential and will not be shared.

“We encourage everyone to take the first step toward improved mental wellbeing,” OCHD said.
