North for the 4th shirt sale underway

Posted

TOMAHAWK – A decades-long Tomahawk tradition is continuing this year.

Tomahawk Main Street Inc. recently launched its 2025 North of the 4th shirt sale.

Shirts are available at Honeycomb L.O.F.T., 216 W. Wisconsin Ave., Tomahawk, and online at www.tomahawkmainstreet.org/online-store.

Youth T-shirts are $20.00 each and are available in sizes small through XL.

Adult T-shirts are available in sizes small through 5XL and are $25.00 each.

Adult hoodies, sold for $45.00 each, are available in adult sizes small through 3XL.

Women’s tank tops are available in sizes small through 2XL and are sold for $24.00 each.

The North for the 4th T-shirt fundraiser started about 40 years ago, when the shirts were sold to raise funds for area environmental groups. After those groups disbanded, the Tomahawk Downtown Business Council headed the fundraiser.

Today, TMS organizes the shirt sale.

Over the years, the shirts have featured a variety of wildlife, including eagles, loons, deer and owls, as well as themes highlighting several Tomahawk Independence Day traditions, such as the children’s frog jump and the Tomahawk Fire Department’s water fight.

“Every dollar raised goes directly into enhancing our downtown, making Tomahawk Main Street a welcoming place for all,” TMS said.
