Norman 'Bucky' E. Crass

Norman “Bucky” E. Crass, Jr., age 82, of Tomahawk, passed away at Riverview Health Services on Friday, Oct. 1, 2021, in Tomahawk. Norman was born in Merrill, Wis., to the late Norman Sr., and Amy (Beatty) Crass on June 22, 1939. He was married to Janice Ann Hanson on Feb. 25, 1961.

Norman spent the majority of his life farming in Tomahawk alongside his father. He was a veteran of the United States Army and the Wisconsin National Guard. He loved spending time visiting with family and friends and deeply loved his pets. Norman was known to tell jokes and you always knew he was near because of his distinct laughter.

Survivors include his children, Debbie (Todd) Wells, Lori Marshall, Vickie Sukow, and Eugene Crass; his grandchildren, Kari (Joe) Nitsch, Kristopher Kienbaum, Justin (Samantha) Kelley, Jason Kelley, DeAnna Sukow, Daniel Sukow, Daria (Andres) Camargo, Drew Sukow, Samantha (Jason) Reichelt, Joseph Crass, Andrew Alsteen, and Alyssia Alsteen. He is further survived by 14 great-grandchildren, four sisters, and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

Norman is preceded in death by his parents, Norman Sr., and Amy; his wife, Janice; his grandson, Nicholas; two brothers, and three sisters.
