For the Tomahawk Leader
TOMAHAWK – Tomahawk High School (THS) recently received a $25,000.00 grant from CNH Industrial (CASE) to add a state-of-the art laser engraver and an additional 3D printer to the Hatchet Innovation Lab.
Instructor Andy Peissig said that with the new equipment, the Innovations Lab will continue to provide students with cutting-edge technology and tools to foster creativity and innovation in their learning experiences.
“The machines will allow students to bring their ideas to life by creating intricate designs on various materials such as wood, metal and plastic,” Peissig stated. “The possibilities are endless with this new addition to the school's resources.”
Peissig added that the Innovation Lab at THS will serve as a hub for collaboration, experimentation and hands-on learning where students will have the opportunity to explore their interests and develop valuable skills that will prepare them for success in the 21st century workforce. “Thanks to CNH Industrial's (CASE) generosity, THS is poised to become a leader in innovative education,” Peissig said.
