National Day of Prayer event held at Veterans Memorial Park

TOMAHAWK – The Associated Clergy of Tomahawk (A.C.T.) hosted a National Day of Prayer event at Veterans Memorial Park on Thursday, May 1.

Roughly 50 people were in attendance, along with students from St. Mary’s School, who sang songs. The Tomahawk Area Veterans Honor Guard led the Pledge of Allegiance, and prayers were offered for all aspects of the state and nation.

After the event, attendees were encouraged to “Prayer Walk” throughout the community, praying for residents and businesses of the Tomahawk area.
