Middle school wrestlers kick off season with Merrill scramble

MERRILL – The Tomahawk Middle School wrestling team began their season with a scramble in Merrill on Monday, Jan. 15.

Other teams taking part were Merrill, Crandon, Elcho, Mosinee, Stratford and Athens. No team scores were kept.

Hudson Evans, Colton McMeekin, RJ Guzman, Aiden Cruz, Tyler Waller and Brayden Nowak each came away with at least one victory on the night.

The middle school grapplers are slated to travel to Marathon for a scramble this evening (Monday, Jan. 22).
