Middle school grapplers host scramble

TOMAHAWK – The Tomahawk Middle School wrestling team hosted a six-team scramble on Thursday, Feb. 20.

Other teams taking part were Merrill, Crandon, Rhinelander, Minocqua-Hazelhurst-Lake Tomahawk (MHLT) and Three Lakes. No team scores were kept.

Tomahawk grapplers coming away with at least one victory on the night were Brantley Budzynski, Dustin Dermer, Christian Hock, RJ Guzman, Hector Luna Perez, Adam Massa, Cooper McMeekin, Brayden Nowak, Charlee Lund, Pryce Roberts, Lexi Palmer, Hallie Pierce and Latrelle Williams.

The middle school Hatchet grapplers will be back in action on Monday, Feb. 24, when they travel to MHLT for their last scramble of the year. The meet will be at the middle school, and wrestling is set to begin at 4:15 p.m.
