TOMAHAWK – A sculpture welcoming visitors to Tomahawk recently received a facelift, thanks to the help of a local artist.
Tomahawk Main Street Inc. partnered with Andy Goretski of Custom Murals to breathe new life into the sculpture standing in the boulevard on N. Tomahawk Ave.
Goretski in 2003 helped paint the William H. Bradley mural on the west side of the Walker’s General Store building downtown, facing S. Tomahawk Ave. In 2023, Goretski repainted the mural.
Now, another work of art in Tomahawk has been revitalized by Goretski.
“Not only did Andy work to repaint the design, but he also shored up the bases, ensuring it will be standing for generations to come,” Main Street said. “Shoutout to the original creator, Potlicker Structures, for their work with our founding organization, the Tomahawk Business Council.”
