As reported by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Monday, May 11:
On 05/10/26 deputies were dispatched to the area of USH 51 and the 232 mile marker for a reported car-deer crash with injuries. The vehicle was N/B on USH 51 when it struck a deer that had entered the road. During the collision, the air bags did deploy and both the driver and passenger reported minor injuries. Both were transported by Lincoln County EMS to Aspirus Tomahawk Hospital.
Deputies conducted 54 traffic stops and 23 security checks.
Deputies responded to two car vs. deer crashes and one car vs. turkey.
