LINCOLN COUNTY – The Lincoln County Board of Supervisors is accepting applications to fill a vacant seat.
The vacancy was created by the resignation of former District 13 Supervisor Calvin Callahan.
Callahan stepped down from the board in mid-September due to his relocation out of District 13, which covers Ward 4 in the Town of Bradley, Ward 1 in the Town of Somo and Ward 1 in the Town Wilson.
Applications to fill the vacancy will be accepted until 12 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3. If needed, interviews will be given to selected candidates at the Lincoln County Service Center in Merrill on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
The board will approve the appointment to fill the vacancy during its meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 14.
The appointed candidate will serve the remainder of Callahan’s term, which ends on April 15, 2024.
