Thank you for your dedication, commitment
Dear Editor,
Nov. 18 through 22 will mark the 98th annual observance of American Education Week. The Lincoln County Retired Educators’ Association would like to take this opportunity to thank the team of people who work with our students.
Appreciation goes out to each of the school staff members who give it their “all” throughout the school year: the bus drivers for getting everyone safely to and from school each day; the kitchen staff for preparing and serving hundreds of breakfasts and lunches daily; the maintenance staff who get our schools cleaned and ready for the day; the office staff for answering the phones and greeting visitors with a warm and welcoming smile; the support staff on whom both students and teachers depend for a huge variety of duties and care; the administrators who keep everything running smoothly; and the teachers for the unseen work they do - preparing lessons for each subject or class they teach, correcting papers and exams, computing and recording grades, planning curriculum, and most of all for shaping the goals and dreams of our students.
Thank you for your dedication and commitment to our schools and our students!

Northwoods gas prices
Can anyone explain why the price of gas in the Northwoods is always at least 20 cents more per gallon than it is in Wausau?
A concerned senior citizen,
