LCHD extends walk-in adult flu shot clinics through November

LINCOLN COUNTY – The Lincoln County Health Department (LCHD) has extended its walk-in adult flu shot clinics through the month of November.

The clinics will be held at LCHD, 607 N. Sales St., Suite 101, Merrill, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. each Wednesday through Nov. 29.

High dose and regular flu vaccines are available while supplies last.

LCHD accepts Medicare Part B, Security Health Plan (Essence, Esteem and Spirit) and Railroad Retirement. LCHD is unable to bill any other Medicare Advantage Plans, private insurance (Humana, United Health Care, Blue Cross Blue Shield, etc.) or Medical Assistance. Insurance cards are requested. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted for those without an accepted insurance plan.

LCHD also offers Tdap vaccines to the public at no cost.

No appointments are needed for the Wednesday clinics. LCHD said it will schedule appointments for those unable to attend the clinics.
