Hatchet swimmers travel to Ashwaubenon, host double dual

ASHWAUBENON – The Tomahawk Hatchet boys’ swim team recently competed in an invite and hosted a double dual.

Jaguar Invite

On Saturday Dec. 11, Tomahawk traveled to the large Jaguar Invite in Ashwaubenon, with multiple Division I teams.

The 200 free relay team (Sam Z., Jack A., Bruce P. and Zach G.) placed sixth and six seconds faster than last year's team.

The 400 free relay of Sam Z., Bruce P., Zach G., and Dane D. swam in a time 10 seconds faster than last year and also at a time of a fully tapered sectional swim.

The boys had 21 personal records, including pour new freshmen: Connor G., Max A., Brock F. and Michael L.

Double dual

The Hatchet swimmers got back into the swing of competition with a double dual against Medford and Antigo on Thursday, Jan. 9.

The Hatchets beat both respective teams, setting 13 new personal bests, as well as numerous season best times.

Dane D., Bruce P., and Nathan R. all set at least two personal records.
