Hatchet hockey team receives Sportsmanship Award

TOMAHAWK – The Tomahawk Hatchet hockey team was recently presented with the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA)/Rural Mutual Sportsmanship Award.

Mutual Insurance Representative and WIAA Licensed Official Michael Biever and WIAA Communications Director Todd Clark presented the award to the Hatchets during their home game against the Marshfield Tigers earlier this month.

The Tomahawk skaters earned the award at the 2024 state hockey tournament.

Both the WIAA and the School District of Tomahawk congratulated the Hatchets on receiving the award.
