Hatchet harriers hold Awards Night ceremony

TOMAHAWK – The Tomahawk Hatchet cross country team held its yearly Awards Night ceremony in the high school auditorium on Monday, Nov. 13.

Award recipients are as follows.

Rookies of the Year: Dominic Boos, boys; Elise Gibeault, girls.

Most Improved: Bruce Peetz, boys; Lydia Shaney, girls.

Coaches Awards: Sam Zastrow, boys; Robin Schmidt, girls.

Scholar Athletes (all 4.000 GPAs, first quarter): Will Boneck, boys; Faith Derleth, Norah Mann, Izzy Lee, Robin Schmidt, Jennie Frederickson, Halle Derleth, girls.

Captains Awards: Presley Gutbrod, boys; Halle Derleth, girls.

Punchy Reich Memorial (as picked by teammates): Halle Derleth.
