Hatchet Choppers test project bike at ‘Dyno Day’

Posted

TOMAHAWK – The Hatchet Choppers, a group of Tomahawk High School students taking part in a statewide motorcycle building contest, last week tested out their project.

Instructor Brian Schiltz explained that at Dyno Day, the Hatchet Choppers and other Wisconsin schools participating in the BUILD Moto competition performed “dyno” testing, which is a way to optimize a bike's performance, increase power, improve fuel economy and enhance rideability.

“Huge thanks to Indian Motorcycle of Metro Milwaukee for hosting the event and making it all possible,” Schiltz said. “Shout-out to all the teams that came and participated.”
