EAU CLAIRE – The Tomahawk High School girls’ wrestling program headed to Eau Claire for a triangular with Eau Claire North and Cameron on Tuesday, Jan. 28.
The Lady Hatchets wrestled Cameron first, winning the dual 48-18. Winners for Tomahawk included Camryn Kraklow, Alicia Voermans, Peyton Haring, Kami Gabrich, Gracie Long, Abby Rosenmeier, Kylie Peissig, and Cadence Thompson.
The final duel of the evening was between the Hatchets and the 10th ranked Eau Claire North Huskies. The Hatchets fell to the Huskies 42-30 in an exciting and very competitive duel.
Camryn Kraklow (pin 2:29), Elise Gibeault (pin, 1:12), Kaylee Roberts (forfeit), Abby Rosenmeier (pin, 22 sec.) and Abrey Tollefson (forfeit) won matches for Tomahawk.
The match of the meet went to Abby Rosenmeier for her exciting pin in 22 seconds to give the Hatchets the opportunity to win the duel.
