Gerard “Jerry” M. Gorell, age 17, of Tomahawk, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025. Jerry was born in Marshfield, Wis., on September 1, 2007.
Jerry was starting his senior year at Tomahawk High School and had planned to join the Marine Corps following graduation. He was a hardworking and polite gentleman, always put others before him, who deeply valued his family, especially his sisters. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. Jerry loved gaming with his friends and was dedicated to cross country…always finishing every race. He was a beloved son, grandson, brother, and friend who loved Jesus and his family.
Survivors include his parents, Matthew and Amber Gorell; his brother, Gabriel Zoromski; and his sisters, Marie Gorell, Reagan Gorell, Ariel Zoromski, and Leia Friemuth.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jerome Shroda and Steven Gorell.
Memorial services for Jerry will be held on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, at Generations Funeral Home, at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 1 p.m. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
