Forensics team headed to State

TOMAHAWK – After competing in the district-level competition earlier this month, the entire Tomahawk High School (THS) Forensics team has punched their ticket to State.

“We are incredibly proud of their hard work, dedication and talent,” said head coach Molly Kollath.

The students competed in the following categories:

Avery Suchomel and Avielle Kromm, Group Interpretation; Skye Scheffler and Matilda Van Asten, Group Interpretation; Gabby Ulrich, Toby Schumacher, Skylar Hernandez, Finn Colburn, Group Interpretation; Jayden Dellinger, Sadie Ruder, Payton Loka, Group Interpretation; Lydia Shaney, Prose; Maddie Long, Prose; Aubrey Graeber, Prose; Galen Schmidt, Farrago; Alena Cerkas Farrago; Phoebe Hrdina, Poetry; 
Abbigal Doleshal, Poetry.

The Tomahawk students will compete at UW-Madison on Friday, April 17.

“The team has worked hard to get here and we hope to continue to make our community proud,” Kollath stated. “We want to thank our students for their determination, as well as their families, teachers and the community for their ongoing support. Their commitment to perfecting their performances and supporting one another has been inspiring to watch. We look forward to seeing our team represent Tomahawk with pride at State.”

Kollath is joined by assistant coach Michele Balda and volunteer coach Katie Pritzl.
