Farm and Flea Market donates to Our Sisters’ House

Posted

For the Tomahawk Leader

TOMAHAWK – The Tomahawk Farm and Flea Market earlier this month presented Our Sisters’ House in Tomahawk with a $1,036.00 donation.

The funds were raised through the market’s vendor fees and donations to the Community Cares Jar. A lunch for the temporary emergency shelter was also held in the market’s fundraising tent.

The Tomahawk Farm and Flea market is a nonprofit that uses 80% of its vendor fees for community organizations. These fees, along with community donations, go to a different local charity each month.

The market’s September donation will go to Tomahawk Fire Department. “Thank you, Tomahawk, for your generosity,” the market said in a release.

The Tomahawk Farm and Flea Market is held on Saturdays at Qualheim’s True Value in Tomahawk.
