Elaine M. Larson, age 83, of Tomahawk, WI, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI.  Elaine was born in New Lisbon, WI, on February 16, 1943, to the late Robert and Vera (Hansen) Dvorak.

Elaine graduated from New Lisbon High School in 1961. Following graduation, she was employed at General Telephone until her marriage.  On February 16, 1963, Elaine was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart, Ronald Larson, who survives.  The couple made their home in Madison for a time before moving to Tomahawk in 1973, when Ron, along with others, founded Northland Stainless.  Elaine worked at Northland Stainless for a period before beginning a long and dedicated career at Tomahawk Community Bank where she was employed for many years until her retirement.  Elaine found great joy in the simple things in life.  She loved playing games, especially dominos and Skip-Bo, and loved baking, particularly the cookies she lovingly made for her grandchildren.  Devoted to her loved ones, she gave freely of her time, care, and encouragement.  Above all, Elaine cherished her family.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Ron Larson; her daughters, Paula (Jim Line) Bartz, and Linda (Garett) Jensen; her brother, Glenn Dvorak; and her sisters, Sonja (Gary) Smith, and Terri (Scott) Taylor.  She is further survived by her grandchildren, Paige Bartz, Steven Larson, Chloe Larson, Lincoln Larson, Gianna Line, London Larson, Dane Larson, Caden Jensen, and Carson Jensen; and her great-grandson, Noah Larson.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Vera; her son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Betsy Larson; her brother, John Dvorak; and her sister-in-law, Sandi Dvorak.

A memorial service for Elaine Larson will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Tomahawk United Methodist Church, at 12:00 PM.  Rev. Lisa Weaver will officiate.  The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 12:00 PM.  Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.  You may view Elaine’s obituary and leave online condolences at generationsfuneral.com.
