For the Tomahawk Leader
TOMAHAWK – While fishing on a Tomahawk-area lake this week, a local angler caught two largemouth bass on one cast.
Bill Sparr said the artificial bait was a “Live Target,” with each bass, measuring 10 inches and 14 inches, caught on a separate treble hook at the same time.
Sparr explained that anglers will occasionally catch a perch or small northern and have a second, larger fish attack the smaller one, and both will get netted together, but in his over 70 years of fishing, he’s never heard of an occurrence like his.
