Caroline Mary Lemke,

Caroline Mary Lemke, 96, of Tomahawk, WI passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at her home.  Caroline was born September 2, 1929 in Tomahawk, the daughter of August and Arvilla (Callsen) Crass.  She was united in marriage May 7, 1949 to Glenn Lemke and he preceded her in death in 1989.

She worked for Lincoln Industries for 22 years, 35 years as the Bradley Town Assessor, 58 years in the 4-H as a leader.  In 2015 she was put in the Hall of Fame as the outstanding 4-H club leader in the State of Wisconsin.  She loved her flower and vegetable garden along with the outdoors.  She adored teaching the youth in the 4-H club.  Caroline was baptized into the Lord in 1929 and was a founding member of Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church, along with being a longtime organist.

Surviving Caroline are her sons, Marty (Lori) Lemke, Tomahawk; Alan (Susan) Lemke, Austin, TX; sister, Patricia Lemke, Tomahawk; 3 grandchildren, Justin (Jessica) Lemke, Dylan (Stephanie) Lemke, Cassidy Lemke and 5 great-grandchildren, Austin, Bryce, Audrey, Hudson and Jacob; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn, and brothers, August Jr.; Arnold (Dottie); and Charles (Traudel); and a sister, Jane Lamer

Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tomahawk with Pastor Matt Crass and Pastor Mark Gass officiating.  Burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to time of service at noon at Church.
