For reasons known only to God, Aubrey-Lynn Oneida Oestreich, age six weeks, of Tomahawk, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, at Aspirus Tomahawk Hospital. Aubrey was born on Aug. 5, 2025, in Rhinelander, Wis., to Myron Oestreich and Hailee J. Powless.
In her short time on earth, Aubrey greatly enjoyed being outside, her special tummy time, and eating. Spending time with mom and dad and her grandparents brought many smiles.
In addition to her parents, Myron Oestreich and Hailee J. Powless, of Tomahawk, Aubrey is survived by her paternal grandparents, Dawn (Brad) Anderson, of Weston, Wis., along with her maternal grandmother, Deana Powless, of Redgranite, Wis. She is further survived by her aunt, Isabella Logan.
Aubrey was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jeff Stoss; her great-grandparents, Myron and Margaret Oestreich along with Terry Buckholt and Dean Powless.
Private family services will be held.
The family wishes to extend a debt of gratitude to the staff at Aspirus Tomahawk Emergency Department including Dr. Minnihan, and the nurses, Angelica, Francis, Jess, and Makayla; Jared and Corey from EMS; and CNA, Micaela. They are grateful for the assistance of the Tomahawk Police Officers, Watruba, Espeseth, and White; along with Lincoln County Coroner, Val Caylor.
