For the Tomahawk Leader
TOMAHAWK – Associated Bank recently made a $5,000.00 donation to Tomahawk Main Street Inc. (TMS).
In a release, TMS said Associated Bank’s financial contribution will “help our downtown thrive through various projects spearheaded by TMS.”
“What does that mean for us here in Tomahawk? First and foremost, Associated provides TMS with office, meeting and storage space at no cost,” TMS stated.
Karrie Hess, Manager of Associated Bank’s Tomahawk branch, said Associated Bank is “fortunate to have the extra space for TMS right here within our branch.”
“We are happy we can do this for them,” Hess stated. “This is a great organization, and they do so much to support our businesses and community.”
“Associated Bank is the largest Wisconsin-based bank, serving over 1.3 million customer accounts across the Midwest, and we take great pride in helping the more than 100 communities we serve be financially stronger,” Associated Bank said. “At Associated, we recognize that we can only be successful if the communities in which we operate are also successful. Developing and maintaining relationships with nonprofits and other charitable organizations that create and sustain vibrant and stable neighborhoods is critical.”
Since the 2012 inception of Associated Bank’s volunteer program, “Roots in our Community,” colleagues have reported more than 620,500 volunteer hours, equating to more than $16.2 million in community service value.
“Come downtown to any of our TMS events, and you will find familiar faces from Associated,” TMS stated. “Karrie and Tami have combined for over 75 hours a year, and that has been year after year, pursuing their passion to give back to their hometown.”
