Alice M. Foster, age 90, of Tomahawk, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2025, at her home under the care of her family and Aspirus Hospice. Alice was born in Shawano, Wis., on April 27, 1934, to the late John and Mable (Martin) Wojkiewicz. She was married to Richard Foster on June 24, 1950; he passed away in 2006.
Alice grew up and attended school in the Shawano area. Alice and Richard owned and operated several restaurants in Fond du Lac, Wis., before moving to Tomahawk in 1981. They were well known for their successful business, Chuck & Tim’s Pizza, which they ran for many years. Alice enjoyed word searches and bowling and loved playing bingo at Sara Park and the surrounding areas. Above all, Alice cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughters, Alice Johnson, Susan (Charles) Willie, and Cindy (David Judell) Hasserodt; her grandchildren, Amie (Troy) Hasserodt, Angela Willie, and Travis (Amanda) Judell; and her grandson-in-law, Randy Delikat. She is further survived by her great-grandchildren, Matthew Schoone, Baylor Schoone, November Mankowski, Addison Mankowski, Chris Mankowski, and Jace Judell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mable; her husband, Richard; her son-in-law, Lloyd “Tiny” Johnson; and her granddaughters, Mary Delikat and Urilla Judell.
In accordance with wishes, no formal services will be held. Inurnment will be held at the Spirit Hillcrest Cemetery in the spring.
