The theme of this year’s National Day of Prayer was “Love, Life and Liberty,” based on 2Cor:3:17. Pastor Ryan Hawley gave a brief message on the theme before prayer.

Those in attendance joined together in front of City Hall and prayed for “the welfare of the nation, its government leaders and law enforcement officials at all levels, for members of the military, educational and business leaders and employees, and all citizen concerns,” A.C.T. said.

The American Legion Color Guard also participated in the event.

Following the prayer event, attendees were invited to “Prayer Walk” in small groups through the community, praying for residents and businesses of the Tomahawk area.
