TOMAHAWK – This week, the Tomahawk Middle School (TMS) Student Council held its first annual ice cream fundraiser for the Never Forgotten Honor Flight.
The School District of Tomahawk explained that students could bring in $2 to enjoy an ice cream treat “while supporting a wonderful cause.”
Through the event, a total of $564.75 was collected for the Honor Flight.
The district gave a shoutout the veterans who came in to greet the TMS students and share in the fun, as well as The Windmill Ice Cream Shoppe for donating the ice cream, cones and sprinkles.
“Thank you to everyone who helped make this fundraiser a success,” the district said. “Your generosity is truly appreciated.”
