HARSHAW – Rondele Ranch, 8959 County Rd. K., Harshaw, is gearing up to hold its annual “A Christmas Wonderland” holiday lights extravaganza.

Walking tours will be held on Fridays and Saturdays in December from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. each evening. Driving tours will be held on Sundays and Tuesdays in December from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The event will open to the public with driving tours on Friday, Nov. 24 and Saturday, Nov. 25.

Cost is $20.00 per car. Only cash will be accepted at the gate.

Walking tours feature warming rooms, an outdoor fire and visiting with Santa and Mrs. Claus, as well as food and refreshments available from Salvation Army and Rondele’s bars.

“Driving tours give you the ability to take in the lights from the warmth and comfort of your vehicle,” Rondele stated. “Music plays throughout the grounds to enhance your experience of the lights.”

Rondele said volunteers from numerous local nonprofit organizations will lend a hand in running the event and will receive donations from Rondele, as well as any tips from guests.

“These groups are directly benefited when you tour A Christmas Wonderland at Rondele Ranch,” Rondele stated.

Volunteer organizations include Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) of Tomahawk High School; Redeemer Lutheran Church, Tomahawk; the Salvation Army, the Oneida County Humane Society and Let’s Go Fishing Northwoods Chapter, all of Rhinelander; and Dragon Boat Warriors, Minocqua.

This year’s event will also feature two new displays: the Community Christmas Train and the Community Christmas Village.

Community Christmas Train sponsors include Dahlquist Heating and Cooling, Trapper’s Fireplace Gallery, Incredible Bank of Tomahawk, Schoone Trucking and Excavating, CoVantage Credit Union, Redman Realty Group, Musson Brothers Inc., Sleep Central, Robin Myre Electrical Contracting, Lakeland Furniture and Mattress and Rondele Ranch.

“We’re so grateful to the sponsors of these new displays,” Rondele said.
