2026 Public Access Lands Atlas now available

Posted

WISCONSIN – The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) last week announced that the 2026 Public Access Lands Atlas is now available for purchase.

A release from the DNR said the Atlas, which is updated every two years, contains 441 maps covering statewide public lands, roads and waterways.

“From state natural areas to state trails, lakeshores to rivers, Wisconsin has a wealth of public lands for everyone to enjoy,” the DNR stated. “These maps make it easy to locate a state park, county forest or lake for a hike, hunting or fishing outing.”

The Atlas can be purchased from the University of Wisconsin Bookstore (www.tinyurl.com/p6vs4ubc) for $104.95.

Atlas information and maps can also be accessed by DVD ($5.95), individual county booklets ($29.95), free downloadable county PDF maps and the free Public Access Lands online mapping application.

Visit the DNR's Public Access Lands webpage to learn more, download maps or launch the online mapping application.
