Gloria Daniels, age 90, of Tomahawk, passed away peacefully on Sept. 7, 2022 at Riverview Health Services.
Gloria was born on Jan. 20, 1932 in Tomahawk to Nary and Bertha (Maki) Marcouiller. She was married to LeRoy Daniels and together they had two children. Gloria and LeRoy lived in the St. Paul area for a few years while their children were small. Eventually, in the early ‘60s, they moved back to Tomahawk. Gloria enjoyed being in the outdoors. She taught her children about nature, she would hunt and fish, and loved camping. Gloria was also a faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Gloria is survived by her daughter – Therese Daniels of Tomahawk and son – Jim Daniels of Rhinelander; two grandchildren – Andrea Daniels of Rhinelander and Crystal Daniels of Raleigh, N.C. She is further survived by two brothers – Donald Marcouiller of New York and Francis Marcouiller of Florida and sister – Eileen Bushar of Tomahawk. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, husband, LeRoy, a brother, Raymond, and two sisters, Sister Rosalie “Annetta” Marcouiller and Dorothy Hayes.
The Funeral Mass for Gloria Daniels will take place on Monday, Sept. 19, 2022 at 11 a.m. Fr. Louis Maram Reddy will officiate. Visitation will take place from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
