St. Vincent de Paul Free Clinic in Merrill
Did you know that you can be seen at a medical clinic in Lincoln County at no cost to you?
St. Vincent de Paul Free Clinic provides basic healthcare services to people in Lincoln County. This care is provided free of charge!
We offer primary medical care, including limited lab and x-ray. The only cost to you is for prescribed medications at your pharmacy of choice. The clinic does have some limitations and does not offer specialty care, chronic pain care or OB/GYN care. In addition, narcotics and ADHD medications are not available as well.
You are eligible to be seen at SVDP Free Clinic if you do not have health insurance, are underinsured, or you have insurance but cannot afford the high deductible that is required by some health insurance programs. This means if you are making between $10 to $15 per hour and have a health plan deduction of $5,000.00 or more, you may qualify for our services.
Other requirements are you need to be between the ages of 18 – 64 and meet the amount determined by the FPL (federal poverty level) of 200%.
You are not eligible if you have adequate health insurance, Medicaid or Medicare, or if you receive veterans medical assistance. You do not need to make an appointment; simply arrive between 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday evenings. At present, we are open every other Thursday. To assist you, in knowing which Thursday we are open there is a calendar in the window of SVDP Thrift Store indicating which Thursday.
In September we were open on the 2nd, and we will be open on the 16th and 30th. At present we will maintain that every other Thursday schedule going forward the rest of the year.
You will be seen on a first come, first serve basis.

It is incredulous there are adults who view children as expendable commodities! Shakespeare (Macbeth I, iii, l.84) asks, “Have we eaten on the insane root that takes the reason prisoner?”
